Nick Basca:

Played for Phoenixville during 1932-1934 seasons. As a senior he led his team to to 9-0 record and Chester County title. Team mascot nickname Phantoms started 1934. He later attended Villanova and excelled making all-state team his senior year. Nick went drafted by the Eagles and was a running back and kicker for them during 1941 season. During Lions game he scored TD, made 9 of his extra point attempts, field goal, and rushed for 15 times for 44 yards. Nick passed away November 11, 1944 in fierce battle during World War II. Nick is in the Phoenixville hall of fame in 2012 and Chester County hall of fame in 2010.

Joe Geri:

Played for Phoenixville during 1939-1941 seasons. As a junior Geri rushed for 20 touchdowns and for his career he finished with 36 rushing touchdowns which is school record. Joe played collegiate football at Georgia University which was called Georgia state at the time. In 1948 Geri led the SEC in points scored 90 and set the league record for PAT conversions at 92.3 percent by going 36 for 39. 1947 he scored 94 points and caught five passes. He was selected All-SEC squad. Joe was drafted by Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round in 1949. He played for the Steelers for three seasons and finished his career with Chicago Cardinals in 1952. He finished his career with 1,550 yards rushing, 10 rushing touchdowns, 92 yards receiving, two receiving touchdowns, 1,926 passsing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, 108 kick-return yards, 28 punt return yards, 95.1 percent in PAT, and 39.9 punt average. Joe was selected to the All-Pro team in 1950. Joe was inducted into the Georgia hall of fame in 1988 and Phoenixville Hall of fame in 2012

Michael Labik:

Played for Phoenixville High School in 1939-1941 seasons. Michael was a fullback and blocked for all-time great Joe Geri. Michael played his collegiate football at Temple University but started suffering headaches he received while playing in high school. Michael left Temple and took time off from the game. In 1943 Michael enlisted into the Military but later was honorably discharged due to headaches. In 1946 with the desire to play football again Michael signed with Pennsylvania State Professional Football league. The team he played for was located in Pottstown and played against Panther Vally, Lancaster, York, Altoona, Allentown, and Pottsville.

Neal Olkewicz:

Played for Phoenixville High School in 1971-1974 seasons. Neal lead the Phantoms in tackles every year. He was named 1st team All Ches-Mont at LB for two years and was All-State selection his senior year. Neal played collegiate football at University of Maryland as MLB and led the Terrapins in career tackles. In 1978 Neal had 188 tackles his senior year and while at Maryland he was named all-american several times. In 1979 Neal signed as a free agent to the Washington Redskins and played from 1979-1989. In his 10 year career with the Redskins he averaged over 100 tackles per year, scored one touchdown, played in three Super Bowls and won two (1982 & 1987), 12 career sacks, six interceptions for 76 yards, and was named Redskins defensive MVP in 1988. Neal was inducted into the Phoenixville hall of fame in 2011, Chester County hall of fame in 2012, Tri-County hall of fame in 2012, and Pennsylvania hall of fame in 2015.

Rich Kraynak:

Played for Phoenixville High School in 1976-1978 seasons. Rich was named first team All-State in 1978 and he also played in the Big 33 game. Rich played his collegiate football at University of Pittsburgh and played in 4 major bowl games. Rich was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1983 and was named outstanding specialty teams player by the Eagles. Rich played for the Eagles until 1986 and finished his five year career with Atlanta Falcons in 1987. Rich was inducted into the Phoenixville Athletic Organizations hall of fame in 1997 and Phoenixville Sports hall of fame in 2011.

Jamie "Bubba" Gray:

Played for Phoenixville High School in 1989-1991 seasons. Jamie was two time all Pac-10 selection, all county, all area team, all-state, and Pac-10 MVP (1991). In Jamie high school career finished with 12 sacks and is fourth all-time in school history. He finished with 6 sacks his senior year in 1991. Jamie played his collegiate football at East Carolina University as offensive lineman. In 1996 he was selected preseason all conference at guard. In 1997 he went on to play in Arena Football League and in 1998-2000 he went overseas to play in NFL Europe. Jamie was inducted into the Phoenixville Sports hall of fame in 2015.

Rob Lohr:

Played for Phoenixville High School in 2005-2007 seasons. In Rob high school career he has finished with 901 yards receiving, 15 career sacks which is first all-time in school history. Rob was a two time all Pac-10 selection, 2007 defensive player of the year, and mini maxwell winner in 2008. Rob played his collegiate football at Vanderbilt University as defensive lineman. In Rob's collegiate career he finishes with 120 tackles, 11 sacks, 31.5 tackles for loss, and was named preseason All-SEC in 2012. In 2013 Rob signed free agent to the Kansas City Chiefs and lasted towards end of camp. In May of 2014 Rob signed with BC Lions in Canada and finished his professional career that year.
